Good evening, Hornets! After School starts tomorrow, September 2nd! Don’t forget—our Back to School Bash is this Thursday, September 4th. We can’t wait to see you there! Plus, come cheer on our softball team vs. Bowlegs tomorrow at Firelake Fields, starting at 4:30 PM. Admission is $5. Go Hornets!
Attached is the Cycle 1 After School Schedule. A paper copy will also be sent home with students tomorrow. To ensure your child can attend after school on the first day, please make sure their enrollment form is submitted before September 2nd.

The Oklahoma Caring Vans will be at Macomb Public Schools on September 15 from 1:00–3:00 PM. They will be offering vaccinations, and flu shots will also be available (pending shipment arrival). Flu shots are open to everyone—students, staff, parents, and community members.
Congratulations to our elementary student and her softball team, Oklahoma Drive, on their Championship win this past weekend! 🥎 They’ve now brought home 3 rings in the last 3 weeks—what an amazing accomplishment!

Mrs. Paige Phillips is our new 3rd grade teacher. She teaches 3rd/4th boys through STEM activities. Last week, they learned about Newton's Laws of Motion.
Celebrate Teachers in Shawnee today. Our motivational speaker was Michael Bonner. He is a teacher at the Ron Clark Academy in Georgia. Mrs. Spikes was our big winner. Thank you Avedis Foundation.
