Parents:
Drop by the library during Parent-Teacher Conferences on March 11th and 12th and help us with our Library USED Book Fair. We will be selling surplus and duplicate books weeded from our collection at greatly reduced prices. Prices will range from 10 cents to $1. Many of these books are in good condition. Some of the books are older and some are duplicates of what we already have in the library. We have picture books. young adult novels and more. Proceeds will be used to buy more books

Parents, we are increasing our percentage of parents who have downloaded the Macomb Public Schools OK app. Currently, we have 43% of our parent population who have downloaded the app. If only one parent has downloaded the app, I challenge you to increase our percentage!!! This is our new method of keeping in contact with you.
Athletics has a new ice cream machine. They will sell ice cream this Friday at 2:00. Cost is $2.
Student-Led Conferences are scheduled for March 11-12 from 4-7. You student will lead the conference so plan on your child/children attending with you. Please reach out to your teachers to schedule times for your children. You can make one call and schedule all elementary kids by letting the teacher you contact know you have multiple meetings to schedule.
Grades K-6 will attend the musical Pinkalicious at Rose State College on Friday, March 7th. We have a grant that will pay the cost of this musical.
Grades 3-6 will attend a Thunder Blue Basketball game on Wednesday, March 5th. The cost is $10. We will take school lunches. There will also be concessions available for purchase.
Congratulations to our Macomb FFA students who made Premium Sale at the Pottawatomie County Junior Livestock Show! These projects take a lot of time and effort. Well done!

We are moving our regional basketball tournament back one day. Instead of starting on Thursday, we will start the tournament on Friday. We will play Friday, Saturday and Monday. Game times and sites to remain the same.
Spring pictures have been rescheduled. They were originally scheduled for Feb 20th but have been moved to Match 13th.
Spring pictures have been moved from Thursday, February 20, to Thursday, March 13.
Our girs lost to Varnum 66-53 in the District Finals. They now move on to Regionals in the playoffs. They will play Roff at 1:00 pm at Varnum on Thursday 2/20/2025. Coach Hancock would like to thank everyone for their support all season and look forwarding to seeing you at the game on Thursday.
Due to school closure tomorrow, February 18, FAFSA night is also canceled.
Due to the potential of Winter weather, Macomb Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
We will continue monitoring the weather and provide updates for later in the week. Due to unknown factors such as the amount of precipitation and the extreme cold forecast, a strong possibility exists for this to be an extended closure this week. Please make preparations for this to be an extended closure.
Macomb will be hosting Districts on Feb 13-14-15. Girls play on Thursday @ 7:30 vs Bowlegs., The boys play on Friday @ 7:30 vs Bowlegs. The finals will be on Saturday with the girls starting at 6:00 and the boys @ 7:30. Please show up and support our girls and boys!
Happy Valentine's Day💕 Parents, we have many coats and jackets that our students have not claimed. Please collect if you visit us for parties today. There is a coatrack in the hall that leads to the playground.
