JH softball games scheduled for Monday at Butner will be played at Macomb instead beginning at 4:30. We will play two games vs Butner.

It is springtime and we are beginning to wear shorts to school. Our elementary handbook states that shorts must not be less than 6" or a dollar bill above the knee. There are also several items that are specifically prohibited. The elementary handbook is posted on our school website.

Today, our students learned about the Book Blast Program and the importance of having their own books at home. Tonight, we are asking you to take 7 minutes to support our Student Home Library initiative.

Literacy Night is starting now!!! We have an abundance of coats and jackets. Tonight, you can claim your own coat or jacket. You can also take home any coat or jacket. They have been left here for an extended period of time and we are going to donate anything that is left to Goodwill tomorrow

NEW SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW !!
A big shout out and CONGRATULATIONS to Addi Beauchamp who made All Conference in basketball. The Little River Conference coaches vote on the players who make the team. Only 10 players are selected. Addi scored 519 points this season as a freshman. She averaged 20 points per game and had a season high of 38 points in one game with several games of 30 plus and 20 plus. I am proud of her and her teammates. Looking forward to the bright future of this group of young ladies.

The library is having a used book fair during parent teacher conferences tonight and tomorrow night. Prices will range from 10cents to $1. Many of the books are in good condition. Some are older and some are duplicates of books we have in the library. Please come and support the library
Parents, today and tomorrow, we have student-led conferences. Please bring your child/children so they can present their learning to you. ALSO, we have a large amount of coats and jackets that need claimed. They are hanging in the hall and we have two bags of jackets too. Please claim them!!!
Just a reminder. P/T conferences are Today and tomorrow, Tuesday March 11 and Wednesday March 12. No after school these two days. No school on Friday.
After School Frozen dance this Thursday 6:00-8:00 pm. Macomb After School kiddos only. Kiddos must be checked in and out of the dance. Doors close at 6:20. Library will be open for parents/family. Call Shannon with any questions. No After School program Thursday.
